What is the minimum stay?

Normally there is a minimum 2 night booking requirement.

Special minimum stay might change during top seasons (e.g. Christmas, New Year´s, Summer)

Please check with us for special cases.

There is no maximum booking requirement. Bookings are subject to availability.

How do I make a reservation?

There are a number of easy steps you have to follow to place a reservation:

Use the multiple search functions to find the apartment you like.

Submit an availability request of that apartment for the dates you wish to stay: select your check in night, your check out day and your party size. We will contact you within 24 hours to confirm availability and the price.

How do I confirm my reservation?

We will confirm the reservation with you via email.

A reservation fee / card authentication of £1.50 will be taken at the time of booking. If this payment fails we will hold the reservation dates for 24 hours to allow for the credit card to be updated. If the card is not updated in this time the reservation hold may be cancelled.

How and when do I pay the remaining balance?

The remaining balance will be taken from the same card provided for the £1.50 reservation fee, 14 days before your arrival. Full payment will be taken immediately if your check in date is within 14 days of making the reservation.

Are there other payment options and charges?

We are happy to try and accommodate all forms of payment however you are responsible for the fees that may incur.

Do the prices include taxes?

Yes, on the cost quoted, taxes are included.

Am I required to pay a security deposit for the apartment?

Certain properties will require a security deposit of £100.00. You will be made aware of this when searching our properties. This is to be paid 14 days before your arrival and released 24 hours after you check out, providing there are no issues raised from our turnaround team. Typically we would expect security deposits to be back in your account within 3-5 working days, however this may vary depending on your bank.

Can I cancel my reservation?

Cancellations can be made without penalty up to 15 days before your arrival. Payments are automatically taken 14 days before you arrive, at this time there are no refunds provided for cancellations.

How and when do I get the keys to the apartment?

Our apartments are self check in apartments.

You will receive an email on the day of your arrival which will contain a document on “how to operate our lock box” along with the entry code to collect your keys.

This will be sent out automatically at 12 noon of the day of your arrival. Check-in is anytime from 3pm.

How long does it take to get from Edinburgh/Glasgow/Aberdeen airports to Dundee?

Glasgow Airport: 90 miles and just over 1.5 hours by car.

Edinburgh Airport: 61 miles and about 1 hour 10 minutes by car.

Aberdeen Airport: 70 miles and just over 1 hour 20 minutes by car.

What are the check in and check out times?

Check in is from 3pm and check out is 10am. Early check in and late check out can be accommodated at a small cost but is subject to availability. Please give us as much notice as you can for us to accommodate this request.

Late departures will incur an extra charge of £25.

The properties are professionally cleaned and inspected before and after each rental to ensure that all guests have a clean comfortable stay. Please be thoughtful of guests who may be checking in on the same day that you checkout.

What is the maximum occupancy?

Please take note of the maximum occupancy listed in each apartment. You are responsible for not exceeding the maximum occupancy and you can be asked to leave the property if you overlook this requirement. You will be charged the extra person rate should more people stay than you originally booked on your reservation.

Are there extra charges for gas, electricity or water?

No, there are no additional charges for gas, electricity or water.

How often are the apartments cleaned?

Our apartments are professionally cleaned after every check out. We take particular care with this process and as well as a cleaning team we have a check team who inspect the cleaned apartment.

If you are staying with us for over a week, we can make arrangements for a “light clean” during your stay. This is a linen change over, fresh towels and general tidy of the apartment. We would try to arrange this at a time you were not in the apartment and would take no more than an hour.

Is there an extra charge for cleaning?

There may be a charge if the apartment is left excessively dirty. We expect you to leave the apartment tidy without any excessive cleaning necessary.

There is a £100.00 fine for smoking in the apartments. We take this very seriously and will not tolerate smoking in our apartments.

Are bed linens and towels provided in the apartment?

Yes, fresh clean bed linen and towels are provided in all of our apartments. This is provided and serviced from a local linen business who specialise in hotels and serviced accommodation.

What happens if I break something?

Please contact info@clarkandersonproperties.co.uk, or call the number provided in your welcome pack as soon as possible to assess the damage.

We will do our best to try and fix or replace the item(s) and reach a decision of whether there is any charge incurred.

Along with the welcome letter you will receive a copy of the apartment inventory which you can check for accuracy when you arrive.

Every item is listed along with it’s replacement value. It is much quicker and simpler to remedy cases of broken or damaged items if we are informed while you are still in the apartment.

What if I need help or information during my stay?

We try to make every apartment as accommodating as we can to all guests. You will find a welcome pack in all of our apartments which is tailored to the area you are in. This will include things to do, recommendations for food & drink, bars & restaurants; activities both indoors and outdoors, emergency details and much more.

However if there is anything we can do to improve your stay with us you can contact us using the details provided on this site or in the correspondence we send throughout the booking process.

Are pets allowed?

Pets are not allowed in any of our apartments. We apologise if this is inconvenient for any of our guests.

Do the apartments have internet access?

All of our apartments have complimentary Wi-Fi Internet access, we always attempt to install the highest speed broadband if the area can access it. (please check the individual apartment page for a list of the amenities).

Do the apartments have car parking spaces?

Parking is different for each property. Please check the property description for more details.

Can I bring guests back to the apartment?

Once you have arrived at your apartment, it is literally your home away from home. Guests may visit you in the apartment as many times as you like, whenever you like without additional cost, however any person staying over night will be required to pay. This may be monitored however we trust you will respect our booking and payments policy.

Please keep in mind when entertaining to keep the noise to appropriate levels especially during the week out of respect for your neighbours.

Can I have a party in the apartment?

No. There are lots of bars and clubs in Dundee, your apartment is not one of them. It’s important that you maintain a respectable level of noise from music and television and noise in general.

During the weekends, please maintain a respectful volume of noise after 12PM. We reserve the right to deduct money from the Security Deposit if we receive complaints about the noise or inappropriate conduct.

We reserve the right to evict with immediate effect all renters from the property who, in our opinion, are not suitable as guests of Clark Anderson Properties, due to unreasonable behavior, damage to the property, or causing repeated annoyance or offence to adjacent properties/neighbours. In such cases of eviction, no refund will be given under any circumstances.

Can I smoke in the apartments?

No. All of our apartments are strictly non-smoking. You will be charged £100.00 if the apartment, linen or furniture is left smelling of cigarettes or if we find evidence of smoking inside.
